FIELD: production of jewelry decorations, in particular, manufacture of badges used at entertainment and acquaintance parties for young people etc. SUBSTANCE: badge has base with lock for attaching badge to clothing, playing member provided with processor having light emitting diodes, power unit, micro dynamic loudspeaker and multiple-position switch with button, and cover made of light-transparent material. Base and cover are made in the form of heart, and said button is made in the form of "Cupid's arrow" and movably mounted on badge base. Text on cover surface indicates badge user's desire to make an acquaintance. Badge base is divided by partition into sectors, with at least one light-emitting diode being mounted in each sector. The process of establishing contacts with people by means of said badge is performed in the following manner: badge's user standing at a distance of visual contact with person under interest presses "Cupid's arrow" button to activate light-emitting diodes, which start illuminating said text to attract attention of said person to said badge. The moment said parson pays attention to said badge, the badge's user repeatedly presses "Cupid's arrow" button to initiate micro dynamic loudspeaker to emit sound simulating, for example, "heart beating" and, thus, to enhance the effect of transmitting information contained in the text on badge cover.
