FIELD: household articles. SUBSTANCE: spoon has handle and stylized figure detachably fixed to handle. Stylized figure may be made in the form of sun with movable members, which may be formed as solar rays mounted on sun-like figure through bimetallic springs. When temperature of medium, into which spoon is dipped, exceeds predetermined value, movable members prevent user from access to spoon handle. Such construction allows medium temperature to be visually determined by lifting angle of movable members, user to be prevented from access to spoon handle and, consequently, burning of user's tongue to be avoided. EFFECT: simplified construction and provision for preventing people, in particular, children, from burning their tongue. 2 cl, 3 dwg
