FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has flat perforated working part manufactured as a whole from flexible bioinert material and perforated legs taking their beginning from a pair of opposite sides. The device has at least two legs on each side and the working part is shaped as equilateral trapezium usable for setting the plate into eye orbit. Method involves fixing plate legs on lower orbital edge on one side and on superior maxillary sinus wall on the other side. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in treating fresh injuries in zygomatico-orbital complex combined with superior maxillary sinus wall injuries. 27 cl, 3 dwg
