FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: couch has frame with legs and curved supporting bed, onto which mat is placed. Supporting bed is made in the form of inclined surface with upper part curved in the form of arc with convexity directed upward (first version) and in the form of two intersecting inclined surfaces with angle apex directed upward (second version). Supporting bed is attached between two trapezoidal frame members arranged in parallel with one another, with space between frame members being equal to width of couch and frame members being rigidly connected to one another. Each trapezoidal frame member is composed of two vertical columns of different height, which are connected in their upper parts through arcs with inclined bar, which is longitudinal side of couch. Couch of such construction may be used for treatment and prophylaxis of diseases of locomotor apparatus, for performing manual therapy and massage. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and increased efficiency in treating and prophylaxis of locomotor apparatus diseases by arranging patient in physiologically suitable position, when patient's spine is in naturally relaxed position. 18 cl, 5 dwg
