FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes a couch, a lumbar spine stretching unit, elements for patient fixation, a hollow housing, a cervical spine stretching traction, two limit switches, a removable bridge, a control unit, a remote control, a strain gage, two elements of thermal effect, a pelvic section rotation angle retainer, two height adjustable kneeboards and a transportation unit. The couch includes thoracic and pelvic sections made in the form of metal frames, where platforms are installed with artificial covering on the top, the pelvic section platform is equipped with rollers providing longitudinal displacement along axis X. The pelvic section is equipped with a hinge mounted in the longitudinal plane of the couch and providing its rotation around vertical axis Z. The hollow housing is mounted on the base, and the couch is placed on this housing and provided with a head section, also made in the form of a metal frame and having a platform with artificial covering on the top, and this platform is pivotally connected to the thoracic section of the couch. Cervical spine extension unit is placed on the head section and formed by connected to a metal cable via a traction lever placed in a sleeve with a locking screw, and also formed by a flat support for the head, a fixing strap, two occipital wedges adapted to change the distance therebetween and a head section inclination angle retainer, consisting of a gas spring and an end handrail. Two limit switches are integrated into the respective through grooves of the pelvic section. The removable bridge is placed in one of the two grooves of this section, if necessary, and thereby allows the presence/absence of mechanical connection between the drive and the pelvic section. The control unit is integrated into the hollow housing. The control panel and the emergency button are external and connected to the control unit via the appropriate cables. The strain gage has a mechanical input interacting with the drive, and the electric output is connected to the control unit. Two thermal effect elements are embedded the thoracic and pelvic section platforms and connected to the control unit. The pelvic section rotation angle retainer is located between the thoracic and pelvic sections. Two height adjustable kneeboards with a common stand connect them to the pelvic section platform. Elements for fixation of thoracic and lumbar spine and lower limb joints are made in the form of fastening belts fitted with traction belts. The lumbar spine stretching unit is formed by a drive, a slider placed on the guide and cooperating with this drive, two traction levers and a bracket, one end of which is rigidly connected to the slider and the other end - to a metal cable, and the base is provided with a transporting assembly. The transporting assembly includes two support wheels and two support washers mounted on the ends of the transverse axis lying in the vertical plane and passing through the center of gravity of the apparatus, a lifting-lowering lever with a shaft, built into the base and lying in the said vertical plane, two cams rigidly connected to the lifting-lowering lever shaft, two sleeves mounted on the base and provided with pushers rigidly connected to the support washers and interacting with the respective cams.
EFFECT: expansion of therapeutic capabilities of the apparatus by providing stretching of the cervical and lumbar spine.
