FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medical equipment and is intended for self-massage of back muscles. Device for back massage includes immobile part in form of base with head rest and mobile part. In the middle of base made is an opening with placing in its clearance massage elements on common axis with possibility of rotation on it. Mobile part is made in form of two parallel traction levers, fixed with one end to lower edge of vertically placed foot rest, provided with foot-holder and heel pad, and contains axis of massage elements near another end. massage elements are made with possibility of their movement longitudinally with respect to base within the opening and changing in height above base and width of location of working surface of massage elements. Each traction level is placed in not fewer than two sliding units, fixed to base.
EFFECT: possibility of self-massage of back muscles in case of muscular pain in lumbar area for rehabilitation and treatment after traumas and diseases of spine by application of device without participation of other person and without application of electric energy with increased safety measures and reduction of financial expenditures.
