CONTAMINATED AIR CLEANING UNIT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning contaminated air from gaseous and aerosol toxic agents in chemical, petrochemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes dust collector, adsorber and suction device located in technological sequence and interconnected by through passage supplying purified air; said passage is provided with inlet and outlet branch pipes; proposed unit is also provided with mobile platform made from separate sections which may be connected by means of locking device for mounting dust collector, adsorber and suction device on them. Dust collector is provided with filters mounted horizontally in its housing which has ports and device for regeneration of filters. Dust collector and adsorber are provided with sludge removal mechanisms; each mechanism has screw feeder with ball lock and sludge receiver. Filter regeneration device is made in form of nozzles mounted in said ports and connected with compressed air source through valve gate.
