FIELD: reduction-oxidation catalysts. SUBSTANCE: supported catalyst for selective reduction of nitrogen oxides is prepared by simultaneous separate spraying of aluminum hydroxide and aluminum metal, the former being thermally transformed into aluminum oxide. In addition, aluminum/silicon compound is sprayed onto support separately from aluminum metal and active metallic component is supplied. Nitrogen oxides are selectively degraded in the form of the above-prepared catalyst at temperatures above 400 C.
