FIELD: plastic metal working, namely wire straightening by multiple bending of it in several planes at passing row of straightening gages in the form of sleeves. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes feeding and drawing rollers; drum mounted in bearing assemblies in housing and provided with rotation drive; straightening gages secured to drum by means of radially arranged adjusting screws. Each straightening gage includes two parts. One part is made of metal, another - of abrasive material. Parts of gages made of metal and parts of gages made of abrasive material are arranged along drum in staggered fashion. Working surface of each part of gage made of metal is in the form of half of body of revolution. EFFECT: enhanced quality of straightened wire, elimination of wire surface flaws. 4 cl, 5 dwg
