FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly straightening of elongated products such as rods with thickened end portions. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing mounted in bearing assemblies with possibility of rotation. At least five straightening units are arranged successively in housing. Adjacent straightening units are turned one relative to another by 180 degrees relative to lengthwise axis of housing. Straightening unit includes straightening plate with weight rigidly secured to it. Deforming sleeve with working opening coaxial to lengthwise axis of housing is rotatably mounted in straightening plate. Straightening plate is rotatably mounted on one of axles by means of said sleeve. Balancing plate with weight rigidly secured to it and having mass equal to that of straightening plate is rotatably mounted on diametrically opposite axle. Both plates are tightened together by springs. Balancing plate has opening coaxial to working opening of deforming sleeve and having diameter exceeding that of working opening and of rod. Total mass of straightening plate with weight and with deforming sleeve is equal to total mass of balancing plate with weight. Their mass centers are diametrically opposite relative to lengthwise axis of housing in plane normal to said axis. Straightening unit includes deviation synchronizer. There are deviation limiters in housing. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, enlarged functional possibilities of apparatus. 2 cl, 3 dwg
