METHOD OF ENHANCING ECOLOGICAL SAFETY OF SHIP Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: enhancing ecological safety of ships. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes air-conditioning of habitable spaces of ship, preparation of drinking water, cleaning of used gases, gathering and purification of waste water, gathering of oil-containing water which is used for preparation of water-and-fuel emulsion. After cleaning, sea water is used for sprinkling conditioned air and preparation of water-and-fuel emulsion for main power plant and for domestic services. Cleaned waste water is used for technical services and for cleaning waste gases of shipboard power plant, boilers and in incinerators. Oil- containing water thus gathered is mixed with fuel and is fed to boilers and incinerators. Heat generated by boilers and incinerators is used for treatment of waste water, heating rooms and water. EFFECT: enhanced ecological safety. 1 dwg
