SNOW CLEANER CUTTING BLADE HOLDER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: road building. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at designing of holders for snow cleaners. Proposed cutting blade holder contains trilateral hollow beam three sides of which form, respectively: first locking member designed for mounting on lower edge of snow cleaner, second locking member designed for engagement with rear part of cutting blade, support member connecting two locking members and devices for fastening cutting blade on hollow beam. At least second locking member and support member are made of elastic polymeric material providing transverse elasticity of each side of hollow beam and possibility of bending relative to longitudinal direction. Shape of hollow beam is such that second locking member and support member, being installed opposite to lower edge of device, are directed downwards with inclination and forwards to meet in angle of beam before lower of device. Hollow beam is adapted for fixing cutting blade in line along lower part of second locking member close to beam angle. Second locking member and support member, when device is operating, act onto cutting blade as pressed-on spring, action being directed downwards with inclination and forwards. Second locking member and support member are adapted to bending at overload. Support member is adapted to bending in direction of beam space, and second locking member is adapted to bending forwards and upwards. EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of holder, provision of tight contact of cutting blades with pavement. 10 cl, 5 dwg
