FIELD: steam power plants. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to centrifugal pumping units featuring higher suction capacity used for pumping out condensate from condensers of steam power plants. Proposed condensate pumping unit used to supply hydraulic systems of steam boilers with working liquid from condensers through check valve contains at least one main pump wheel coupled with driven motor. Wheel outlet communicates through peripheral ring tap with inlet of centripetal turbine rigidly coupled with booster low-speed blade wheel mechanically. Inlet of booster wheel communicates with hydraulic system condenser and its outlet, communicates with inlet of main working wheel. Inlet section of turbine wheel commensurable in length with half of width of ring tap is made confused in direction of flow getting out of main working wheel. End face walls of turbine wheel inlet section are made drawn together in direction of liquid flow relative to middle line of current of working channel forming acute angle α: 0<α<45°. in between. Invention makes it possible to create condensate pumping units of high suction capacity. EFFECT: improved stability of starting of proposed pumping units. 7 cl, 4 dwg
