FIELD: thermal engineering; solid fuel pulverizing and burning process. SUBSTANCE: method using pulverizing system with intermediate bin includes pulverizing of source coal in gaseous drying agent stream; separation of pulverized coal into slightly dusted waste cooling agent and pulverized coal; feeding of pulverized coal from intermediate bin to furnace in the form of main flow of aerated high- concentration fuel-air mixture with primary air; supply of slightly dusted waste drying agent pre-enriched with main fuel above mentioned main flow of fuel-air mixture for afterburning; and introduction of separate flow of clean air such as secondary air flow above both mentioned fuel mixture flows into furnace in a number of jets distributed over furnace perimeter; part of waste drying agent flow is fed to furnace above main fuel-air mixture flow directly upon separating air mixture into coal dust and waste cooling agent, this part of flow being enriched with main fuel by introduction of main fuel into this flow prior to feeding desired amount of pulverized coal from intermediate bin to furnace. EFFECT: reduced emission of nitrogen oxides and incomplete combustion products into atmosphere with stack gases. 9 cl, 4 dwg
