FIELD: optical instrumentation engineering; object reflectance meters. SUBSTANCE: meter has radiation source as well as optical shaping system, cat's eye being inspected and standard cat's eye, first beam splitter, receiving collimator, second beam splitter incorporating on one side projection system and CCD matrix and on other side, condensing lens and radiation detector whose output is joined with input of digital voltmeter, all of them being arranged in tandem along radiation path. Output of CCD matrix and that of digital voltmeter are connected to input of microprocessor designed to control averaging measurement solid angle Ωmeas according to value of cat's eye index under measurement and averaging solid angle Ωst corresponding to indicatrix of reflection from standard cat's eye, and also for calculating cat's eye index Rc.e of cat's eye under inspection averaged in solid angle Ωmeas.
