SUBSTANCE: method deals with obtaining antitubercular preparation of wide spectrum of pharmacological action: restorative, antiphlogistic, antimicrobial, antihypoxic, gastroprotective, immunomodelling, hepatoprotective, antiproliferative, antiexudative, antioxidant, in particular. Islacet preparation consists of alcoholic and aqueous extract and contains extractive substances of lichen thallus of Cetraria islandica (L. ) Ach., polysaccharides and lichen acids, among them. It is, also, suggested the method to obtain Islacet medicinal preparation. Plant raw material before extraction should be pre-reduced, extraction is carried out due to fractional maceration or percolation by using ethanol of different concentration or with purified water followed by thickening alcoholic or aqueous extract and its drying. The present method provides maximum isolation of substances, and, also, keeping biologically active substances (polysaccharides, lichen acids) for prolonged period of time.
