FIELD: blankets designed for non-medicamental treatment of various diseases. SUBSTANCE: material includes insulating layer and shielding layer of metallized polymeric film which is smooth on one external side capable of high-power reflection of electromagnetic waves at extremely high frequency and infrared spectrum; opposite side of this film is laminated by means of heat and pressure with insulating layer made in the form of cotton fabric abutting on its one side against shielding layer and on other it is placed on top of fibrous layer made of mixture of polyester and flax fibers and bonded to this layer by means of needle punching. Material produced in the process is used as half-finished product for manufacturing medical blankets incorporating all desired therapeutic properties.
