FIELD: shoe industry. SUBSTANCE: nonwoven material and insole manufactured therefrom are made from fibers joined by needle punching. Fibrous mixture comprises 20-30% of "core-shell"-type bicomponent polyester fibers, whose polymeric shell has melting temperature essentially lower than polymeric core; 25-40% of absorbing fibers, and 30- 55% of polypropylene or polyamide fibers. Absorbing fibers are flax fibers or 9:1 mixture of the latter with colored viscose fibers. Nonwoven material is additionally fastened with partially melted shell polymer of bicomponent polyester fibers. Surface density of material lies within a range of 550-750 g/sq.m. EFFECT: enhanced wear resistance, shape stability, and hygienic properties of insole. 2 cl, 3 ex
