LIQUID CLEANING PLANT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: separation of suspensions and emulsions in field of action of centrifugal forces; cleaning oils, fuels and technological fluids from mechanical impurities and water; machine-tool industry; chemical industry; aviation and other industries. SUBSTANCE: plant includes centrifugal cleaner mounted on sediment receiver. Rotor of centrifugal cleaner has hermetic cap with cone-shaped ferrule secured to it by its larger base; said ferrule is used for delivery of fluid to be cleaned and for discharge of sediment; rotor is also provided with thin-walled insert secured on bush which is mounted on fixed hollow axle. Cleaned fluid receiving cavity is provided with pressure disk for discharge of fluid into hollow axle. Plant is provided with cleaned liquid reservoir which is connected to suction and discharge lines, line and pump for evacuation of gases from accumulation zone located in area of minimum section of taper ferrule near surface of hollow axle. Construction of plant makes it possible to arrange reservoir at different levels above floor, thus enhancing suction ability. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of badly contaminated fluids. 4 dwg
