FIELD: ceramics. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fabrication of ceramics used as structural material for manufacturing parts with elevated resistance against chemical and abrasive wear, ceramic mud contains, wt.%: aegirit concentrate, 18.8-25.3; fired alumina, 59.4-68.6; alkali-silicate additive, 5.4-14.3; and liquid glass, 1.0-2.0. Alkali-silicate additive, in turn, contains, wt.%: SiO2, 60-90; Na2O, 1-15, CaO, 3.5-15; MgO, 2-5; Al2O3, 1-5; and impurities, not more than 3. Lowered firing temperature of ceramic mud is 950- 1150 C as well as including secondary and association products of mineral- dressing industry renders production of ceramic parts less expensive. EFFECT: reduced expenses and increased acid resistance and compression and bend strength of products. 2 cl, 2 tbl
