FIELD: mechanical engineering; power-driven tools with safety clutches. SUBSTANCE: tool has body, drive, spindle, and reduction unit that functions to impart rotary motion of drive to spindle. Safety clutch mounted on shaft in reduction unit circuit has driving and driven half- clutches. Driving half-clutch is made in the form of gear loosely mounted in radial direction on shaft and provided with hub. The latter has a number of radial holes to receive cam members enclosed by circular flat spring. Driven half-clutch is made in the form of bushing placed between shaft and hub coupled in radial direction with shaft and provided with a number of mating radial holes for engaging cam members. Limiting bushing is installed around flat spring with radial clearance relative to the latter. Gear has butt-end hole and flat spring is provided with side projection disposed in butt-end hole.
