FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method used for repairing pipelines crossing water-ways involves following procedures. New pipe is inserted in worn-out pipeline, space between pipes is sealed and filled with water. New pipe is displaced afloat by means of piston while pumping air (gas) into piston space inside worn-out pipeline. Such procedures reduce resistive forces when introducing new pipe into worn-out pipeline. EFFECT: reduced repair charges. 2 dwg
