SEALING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: sealing device has two cups which are installed for possible location one inside other with their bottom parts directed oppositely. Cups have through-holes and means for fixing relative to each other. Device contains master wire. Means for fixing of cups is created by one pair of circular protrusions made on cups for possible engagement between them. Through-holes are made along axes of symmetry of cups in direction of their location one inside other. Dimensions of holes are correlated with cross-sectional dimensions of master wire. Circular protrusion on internal cup is located on its end-face part, and section of external surface between circular protrusion and bottom part is made tapered. Internal surface of external cup up to circular protrusion at side of end-face part corresponds to mating external surface of internal cup. Circular protrusion of external cup is located from its end-face at distance which is not less than length of tapered part of internal cup, and from internal surface from bottom at distance which is not less than sum of width of circular protrusion of internal cup and two cross-sectional dimensions of master wire. Sealing device prevents its unauthorized opening with purpose of resetting, it is simple to manufacture and can be used for sealing cargo without need of any additional tools and appliances.
