FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has radio-controlled instrument comprising source of low-intensity non-ionizing electromagnetic millimeter wave radiation. Said source operates in independent mode without restrictions as to volume of liquid exposed to activation. Apparatus has platform manufactured of material with specific weight less than 1 g/cu.cm. Independent power source having control unit and radio remote controlled unit is located on platform. Electromagnetic radiation generator is connected in hermetically sealed relation to toroid-shaped emitting antenna through waveguide, whose upper end is rigidly attached to platform. Apparatus is used for increasing viability of various kinds of water flora and fauna, in particular, for increasing fish reproduction and yield of algae, which are grown for producing food additives and pharmacological preparations. Apparatus may be also employed in hydropathic establishments and health-improving pools. EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider range of use. 1 dwg
