FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking postoperative deflection of artificial eye lens manufactured from flexible materials, into consideration. To do it, capsule sack diameter is additionally measured. The magnitude and direction of intraocular lens deflection is determined from difference in capsule sack diameter and diameter of the artificial eye lens manufactured from flexible materials, taking into account their elastic properties and structural features of the artificial eye lens. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of surgical cataract treatment. 1 tbl
