FIELD: means for flameless burning of process and ventilation waste; applicable in decontamination of waste gases in chemical, paint and varnish, textile, instrumentation engineering and other industries. SUBSTANCE: reactor for decontamination of waste gases from hydrocarbon impurities has cylindrical body with process branch pipes, reticular catalytic partitions and infrared radiation sources. Installed along body axis is a source of infrared radiation. Located inside body coaxially are cylindrical light reflectors and reticular cylindrical catalytic members between which sources of infrared radiation are installed. EFFECT: reduced power consumption in process of deep oxidation of low-concentration hydrocarbon compounds with ambient inert gases, higher efficiency of decontamination of waste gases with lesser number of infrared radiation sources. 3 cl, 3 dwg
