SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by the fact that the front cylindrical light-scattering device has a section of non-round fiber core, having a width shape of a regular polygon cross-section, a proximal end and a distal end. Light beams extend from the distal end of the section of the non-round core of the fiber in form of a mixed "top hat" of spatial distribution of radiation and are supplied to the lens component, having a lens which receives light beams emerging from the distal end of the portion of the noncircular fiber core, and projects the light beams onto the target treatment zone located at a predetermined constant distance from the lens, as a result of which the target treatment zone receives a "top hat" spatial distribution of radiation with a value of less than +/- 20 % of the preset optical radiation value.
EFFECT: higher homogeneity of the optimum emission profile, as well as higher reliability of the light-diffusing device.
