FIELD: quality control of transformer oil. SUBSTANCE: invention can be specifically employed for measurement of total content of dissolved gases. Desorption of dissolved gases from sample of oil is carried out by way of bubbling of carrier gas through oil with constant flow rate ensuring complete desorption of dissolved gases in the course of analysis. Water vapors are absorbed from desorbed gas and carrier gas with gas desorbed from oil is supplied into thermal conductometric cell which output signal is used to determine concentration of gases dissolved in transformer oil. Sorption-coulometric drier is suggested as water absorber. EFFECT: shortened time of analysis, simplified technology and raised accuracy. 1 cl
