FIELD: radio engineering, taking azimuth of radio emission source in wide-base direction finding complexes. SUBSTANCE: method of taking bearing to radio emission source is based on reception of its signal by three antennas, on measurement of two time differences of reception of signal of radio emission source by antennas forming orthogonal bases, on subsequent processing of measurement results to compute values of azimuth angle of radio emission source and coordinates of point through which sight line of radio emission source passes. Obtained results are presented in form convenient for perception. Device for realization of method has three antennas positioned in vertexes of right-angled triangle, two meters of difference of time of reception of signal, units for subtraction, addition, analysis and indication. There is proposed variant of presentation of results in form convenient for perception. EFFECT: provision for determination of azimuth of radio emission source with any dimensions of measurement bases of direction finder and proposed variants of relative positions of radio emission source and antennas of direction finder. 2 cl, 9 dwg
