FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering, namely to radio monitoring systems for determining of the pulsed radio emission sources location. Method is based on the two radio control posts signals arrival times measuring, one of which is stationary, and one or two – mobile. Based on the measured signals arrival moments, calculating the differences in the signals propagation time from the radio emission sources (RES), forming a Cayley-Menger determinant with the size of 5×5, opening it, obtaining a complete fourth order equation. Numerical solution of this equation gives the from the source to the posts distances values and on the basis of the proportional correspondence of the ratios of distances from the station to the RES and the corresponding ratios of the pulse signal delay values, all combinations of the multiplicative functions (MPF) of these ratios differences functions (FRO) are obtained. FRO MPF processing is performed by the dichotomous method or steepest descent methods. In addition to the FRO MPF, the method is based on the RES location parameters sequential determination principle: of latitude Xi and longitude Yi, by the criterion of the minimum of the FRO MPF finding of the RES location distances to the radio monitoring posts not located on one straight line, and the corresponding ratios of the signals delays values calculated from the times of the signals arrival values measured at the posts.
EFFECT: technical result is the determination of the (RFS) location spatial coordinates by the three fixed stations in a simple way without involving the position lines equations.
