FIELD: reprocessing of brewing industry wastes. SUBSTANCE: method involves removing moisture from secondary raw material in active hydrodynamic mode with drying and additional drying operations to produce solid component (for example brewer's grain); continuously mixing it with liquid component; providing final drying of resultant mixture in active hydrodynamic mode by means of the same drying agent used for producing solid component. Drier has cylindrical-conical chamber with tangential material inlet branch pipe and hollow insert made in the form of alternating hyperbolic and spherical members. Sprayer is positioned in front of outer hyperbolic member of insert at the site of junction thereof with spherical member. Sprayer outer surface conforms to internal shape of said junction site. Sprayer is equipped with through channels for passage of drying agent. Method and drier allow moisture to be effectively removed from solid component, mixing of components to be intensified and process hydrodynamics to be substantially improved.
