FIELD: mechanics, heating.
SUBSTANCE: proposed active-hydrodynamics fraction-by-fraction material treatment drier comprises drying chamber with starting material feed branch pipe divided into cylindrical sections with their top part accommodating cylinder-taper inserts arranged along the chamber axis to separate it into zones. The aforesaid chamber is also furnished with tangential branch pipes designed to feed additional drying agent flow and the main drying agent feed branch pipe arranged at the chamber bottom, along its axis. It also comprises openings to remove drying agent and finished products representing circular slots arranged at the top of cylindrical sections of every afore-mentioned zone. The proposed drier differs from known designs in that the unloading of finished product mixed with waste drying agent from every section is performed through the headers communicating via manifolds, the drying agent additional flow feed branch pipes being tangentially fitted at the cylinder-taper insert cylindrical part.
EFFECT: higher quality of drying materials, higher intensity of heat exchange, ease of finished product unloading, fabrication and mounting.
