METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF ARTICLE WITH DECORATIVE SURFACE AND ARTICLE WITH DECORATIVE SURFACE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering; manufacture of articles with finished facing simulating for natural stone. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes laying polymer film material on base, applying sand-and-cement mixture on this material at thickness of 3 mm, preferable 1.5 mm; sand-and- cement mixture contains cement, plasticizing agent, pigment, water and sand at size of particles up to 1.2 mm at 50-% content of sand at size of particles of 0.5 mm by mass; then, template corresponding to shape of required article is laid; after sand-and-cement mixture attains required strength, polymer film material is removed from outer surface of article. Template may be removed or left in article after attaining striking-off strength. EFFECT: reduced usage of materials; reduced mass of articles at retained physico-chemical parameters of facing. 24 cl, 6 dwg
