FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used to create a decorative surface. The method for manufacturing a decorative surface imitating natural stone provides for the arrangement of a reinforcing mesh with a gap on the surface to be equipped, the placement of the formwork limiting the contours of the stones with the formation of separate sections and the separate preparation of mortars of different colors and/or textures by mixing texture-colored components with water in an amount of at least necessary to hydrate the dry mix binders, but no more than is required to maintain the mortar's clumping ability. Then lumpy portions of the solution of a given color and/or texture are formed according to the planned textural-color structure of the artificial stone, each lumpy portion of the solution is applied to the corresponding section of the formwork, controlling the thickness of the applied solution with penetration of the solution into the gap between the reinforcing mesh and the surface to be equipped, and compacting each portion in the corresponding section. The emerging surface defects are smoothed by smoothing the surface of the applied mortar, the applied mortar is left to harden and the formwork is removed to obtain a finished decorative surface.
EFFECT: increasing the strength and durability of the finished artificial stone, providing the possibility of arranging artificial stone on the surface of various building materials, including insulation.
