FIELD: shipbuilding; water-jet engines for surface ships and submersible craft. SUBSTANCE: proposed complex includes housing and circular ring with blades secured on inner side; circular ring is rotatably arranged in housing. Circular ring is made integral with rotor of reversible electric motor of submersible design where rotor is secured on the outside of ring and stator is secured to hull. Ring is suspended on steady-thrust structures protected by elastic cages. Length of blades is equal to 0.4-0.5 of inner radius of ring and generatrix of inner surface of fore portion of hull has form of sinusoid at flow inlet. In its aft portion, propulsor has swivel nozzle of adjustable section. Inner surface of said nozzle is provided with multi-layer coat made from flexible materials for exciting and adjusting oscillations of coat which projects sternward beyond nozzle boundaries. Voids are filled with vibration-absorbing material. EFFECT: simplified construction; reduced acoustic noise; enhanced efficiency; extended field of mounting on craft. 2 dwg
