FIELD: packing. SUBSTANCE: composite materials are polymers containing layer of copolycondensate active absorbing oxygen and containing mainly segments of polycondensate and small amount of oxygen absorbing segments. proposed copolycondensate with glass transition temperature exceeding 60 C is capable of absorbing oxygen in solid state at ambient temperature within 0 and 60 C being ethylenically nonsaturated. Materials are usually used in form of at least one layer in multiple layer wall of packing container, such as bottle, can or film bags. Composite materials are used usually in combination with catalysts being transition metals, to increase oxygen absorbing capacity. Use of proposed composite materials and packages increases storage life of products sensitive to oxygen and/or makes it possible to dispense with cooling. EFFECT: increased shelf life of packed products. 22 cl, 3 tbl
