SUBSTANCE: method of replenishment of gaseous carbon dioxide in a container with a carbonated beverage includes adding a regulator of carbon dioxide containing polymeric carbonates and/or organic carbonate, into the container or its lid, extraction of carbon dioxide as a result of a chemical reaction, thus the material of the regulator of carbon dioxide is not mixed with the contents of the container, and regulating of extraction of carbon dioxide from the specified regulator at a rate approximately equal to the rate of leakage of carbon dioxide from the container. And the regulator of carbon dioxide is added to the polymer whereof the container or the lid is made, or is made in the form of layers in a multilayer lid, inner lining or in the container, or molded into the liner or a disk placed on the top surface of the lid or neck of the container.

EFFECT: invention enables to carry out self-regulation of packing with carbonated beverage depending on the environment temperature, as well as to use low-modulus plastic such as the polypropylene for packaging carbonated beverages.
