SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel derivative of benzoxazole of the general formula (I) or its salt where R¹ represents chlorine atom; R² represents hydrogen atom; R³ represents methyl group. Invention relates also to a medicinal agent showing antagonistic effect with regard to serotonin receptors 5-HT₃, and containing compound of the formula (I) or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt and pharmaceutical addition. Invention relates also to method of prophylactic and/or therapeutic treatment of patients with state of irritable bowel syndrome or functional gastroenteric tract disturbance or diarrhea state that involves administration in mammal by prophylactic and/or therapeutical schedule compound of the formula (I) or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt in effective dose.
