SUBSTANCE: invention describes novel pharmaceutical compositions used for treatment of patients with hepatitis that include triterpene derivative of the general formula (I) or its salt where R¹ means hydroxyl group, arylmethoxy-, lower alkoxy- or lower alkanoyl-oxy-group; R² means lower alkenyl, -CH₂OR⁵ where R⁵ means hydrogen atom, arylmethyl, lower alkyl or lower alkanoyl, formyl, -COOR⁶ where R⁶ means hydrogen atom or lower alkyl or -CH₂N(R⁷)R⁸ where R⁷ and R⁸ that can be similar or distinct and mean hydrogen atom, lower alkyl, aryl or lower alkanoyl; or R¹ and R² can be bind each with other to form -O-(R⁹)R¹⁰-O-CH₂ where R⁹ and R¹⁰ that can be similar or distinct mean lower alkyl or aryl; R³ and R⁴ that can be similar or distinct mean hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, hydroxymethyl-group, -N(R¹¹)R¹² where R¹¹ and R¹² mean lower alkanoyl, -OR¹³ where R¹³ means lower alkyl, aralkyl, lower alkanoyl, arylcarbonyl, aralkylcarbonyl or aryl-(lower alkenyl)-carbonyl; X means O, CH₂.
