FIELD: development of frozen ground, construction and mining industries. SUBSTANCE: process of development of frozen ground by suction-tube dredge includes development of open pit in frozen ground, setting of dredge in open pit, laying of ditches or furrows in surface of developed mass of frozen ground communicating with source of water supply and open pit inclined towards open pit, supply of water by gravity flow into open pit till dredge is raised to working depth and subsequent development of ground. If density of pumped pulp of developed ground decreases level of water in open pit is raised till water fills ditches or furrows. After thawing and washing-out of frozen ground by water flowing through ditches or furrows level of water in open pit is lowered for reversal feed of hydraulic mixture of thawed ground from ditches or furrows into open pit. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of development of frozen ground by way of enlargement of area of thawing and washing-out of frozen ground. 3 dwg
