METHOD FOR GUIDANCE OF FLIGHT VEHICLE ON TARGET Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2204785 C2

FIELD: methods for guidance of flight vehicle on air target. SUBSTANCE: preliminarily the values of geographic coordinates and altitude above sea-level of the stationary control point location are introduced in the computer. Preliminarily the values of geographic coordinates and altitude above sea-level of the stationary control point location are transmitted from the stationary control point location to the flight vehicle over the radio link. In the process of guidance the computation center is exposed to radiation, radiation reflected from the computation center is received at the stationary control point, and as a result of processing of the received radiation, the values of the distance from the stationary control point to the computation center and the values of azimuth angles and position of direction from the stationary control station to the computation center a measured. The measured values are introduced in the computer of the stationary control center, and the increments of the geographic coordinates and altitude above the sea-level of the computation station relative to the stationary control station location are computed, as well as the values of the rates of change of the geographic coordinates and the altitude above the sea level. The computed values of increments and speeds are transmitted over the radio link at the flight vehicle, where they are received, the values of the geographic coordinates and altitude above the sea-level of the flight vehicle location are measured, as well as the values of the rates of change of these geographic coordinates and altitude above the sea-level, the received and measured values are introduced in the computer of the flight vehicle, the values of the errors of guidance of the flight vehicle are computed at the computation center and the necessary control measures, which change the flight trajectory of the flight vehicle so as to liquidate the errors of guidance of the flight vehicle at the computation center are taken. EFFECT: reduced quantity and reduced cost of the computing devices used at the stationary control center due to reduction of computing operations that are to be performed at processing of radiation received at the stationary control station. 3 dwg
