FIELD: radio communication between distant piloted aircraft and ground control centers. SUBSTANCE: distant piloted aircraft mounts minimum two fixed directional antennas whose directivity pattern in horizontal plane is omnidirectional and antenna switch affording connection of antenna which is within reach of ground control center residing in flying area of distant piloted aircraft to transmitter or receiver of the latter. Location of ground control center is found by computer that computes its current bearings. Proposed process provides for simultaneous radio communications between distant piloted aircraft and several ground control centers spaced at comparatively long distances apart at the same time maintaining sufficient energy potential of radio link used for radio conversation. EFFECT: reduced mass of antenna assemblies mounted on aircraft. 2 dwg
