SUBSTANCE: seismograph designed to measure seismic transients of soil and vibrations of solid bodies has case accommodating bending vibration piezoid and provided with air pockets intercommunicating through air duct. Air pocket volume, acoustic transmittivity of air duct, and resonant frequency of piezoid are interrelated by relationship that provides for extension of operating frequency band of seismograph and for using this device as verifying sensor in testing and vibration calibrating installations.
