FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves three four-month cycles of vermicultivation: first cycle lasting from April to July and involving vermicultivation in summer vermiridges covered with moisture maintaining straw and formed of winter peat-manure strips; second cycle lasting from August to November and involving forming vermiridges from preliminarily prepared substrate; placing straw in spaces between summer vermiridges; forming winter vermipiles, with straw laid in the form of enclosure being used as aerator and substrate unprocessed with worms being placed inside it. Substrate comprises biological wastes, for example manure fermented by semiliquid composting and packed peat, used as basic components. Upon setting-in of stable frosts, worms are caused (by plowing with fork) to migrate from summer vermiridges into winter vermipiles. Third cycle lasting from December to March involves providing extensive vermicultivation process in summer vermipiles without feeding and sampling. Method allows worms and feeding element losses to be reduced and worm migration into surrounding landscapes to be decreased. EFFECT: increased efficiency in reprocessing of peat, manure and other biological wastes into ecologically clean fertilizer- biohumus, increased economy and improved ecology controlling effect.
