PRESS FOR GLUING OF CANT AND BLOCK Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: devices for gluing of boards by thickness or by width and production of cant or block of preset size. SUBSTANCE: press for gluing cant and block has base with posts made in form of equilateral triangles and interconnected by two horizontal strips. Secured to base are upper supporting horizontal beam and lower base horizontal beam and six fixed inclined beams. Upper part of each inclined beam has secured inclined pressure hydraulic cylinder with pressure shoe for moving over guide of this beam in direction of base beam. Means for pressing down are made in form if three movable inclined beams having two pressing-down hydraulic cylinders and installed on rollers. Hydraulic cylinders are installed in beam bores and connected with stop for motion of the lather in direction perpendicular to direction of motion of pressing- down shoes. Each movable beam has upper and lower rollers installed on brackets for motion over horizontal beams. EFFECT: provided economically efficient and series-manufactured press, extended assortment of press wood-working equipment. 9 cl, 10 dwg
