FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: tube is made from iron-based alloy and is designed for passage of carbon-containing liquid. Said alloy comprises dispersion-strengthening oxides of rare-earth metals: 17-26 wt% Cr and 2-6 wt% Al. Method involves manufacturing two tube members and connecting tube members by diffusion welding through metal insert. Tube of such construction may be used, for example, in cracking furnaces.
