FIELD: threaded joints of casing pipes, oil well tubing and oil-and-gas pipes used in oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed joint includes female member with internal thread and pipe having respective external thread at the end with indicator showing position of pipes in screwing them together. Indicator is made in form of circular clearance groove. Bottom of this groove is located on generatrix of cone of tooth space and is engageable with bottom of tooth space of last turn. Side surfaces of groove adjoining bottom are identical in shape to tooth space. Such form of indicator makes it possible to continuously checked screwing procedure.
