FIELD: threaded joints of casings and tubings in oil and gas producing industry. SUBSTANCE: highly sealed taper threaded pipe joint has pipe with male tapered thread and shank located between said thread and pipe end. Shank has external sealing surface in form of truncated cone and embracing member with companion tapered female thread adjacent to its receiving end and successively located cavity with companion sealing surface in form of truncated cone. In this case, sealing surface on pipe shank is made with diameter of truncated cone small base not less than diameter of truncated cone large base of sealing surface of embracing member. EFFECT: excluded getting of contaminations to zone of contact of sealing surfaces to increase operate reliability of threaded joint. 2 dwg
