FIELD: high internal pressure shells. SUBSTANCE: load-bearing framework of proposed reinforced shell has cylindrical section and end convex bottoms and flanges in their pole holes. Framework is formed by combination of groups of layers of spiral and circular tapes containing unidirectional high-modulus filaments fastened by means of polymer binder; framework is lined with protective coat. Hold-down outer circular members are locked on flanges and are provided with circular projections which run over circular projections of bottoms of load-bearing framework tightly embracing its outer layers. According to another version, additional circular member is mounted between at least one bottom and outer circular member; it is mounted on outer surface of circular projection of bottom. Additional circular member is made from composite material with high-modulus filaments located in circular direction; it is made from high-strength steel or titanium.
