FIELD: checking of gyros during laboratory, plant and approval-turn tests.

SUBSTANCE: gyroscope is mounted onto double-axis rotation-incline table. Several measurement positions are preset due to rotation of rotation-turn table by fixed angles in such a manner that total drift of gyroscope is measured at any position as well as projections of angular speed of daily rotation of the Earth. Components of gyro's drift are determined while excluding influence of angular speed vector of daily rotation of the Earth. Gyroscope can be totally calibrated without making high-precision and costly measurements of latitude of the area, azimuth direction and deflection of plumb line. Precise adjustment of external axis of rotation-incline table is provided in orthogonal to Axis of World at any measurement position.

EFFECT: improved precision of calibration.
